·         Dennis Carter has over 24 years of project experience in the commercial, institutional, industrial and governmental sectors. Recent emphasis has been placed on laboratory and data center projects which require high levels of reliability and redundancy. Mr. Carter is fluent in new lighting technologies and applications. Mr. Carter also has experience in selecting and specifying power quality products, including UPS, standby generators, grounding, and surge suppressors. He has performed numerous Value Engineering studies for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and other government entities. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD). 

  • Our electrical engineering design is performed and/or supervised by Mr. Carter.  Mr. Carter will also serve as the Project Manager for multi-disciplined design projects.

Electrical Discipline Leader / Project Leader

  • As the electrical discipline leader, Mr. Carter was responsible for the electrical and telecommunication systems design for medium to large projects throughout the Southeast extending as far west as Juarez, Mexico.  The projects were technically challenging given the exposure to clean rooms, animal research, bio-safety, pharmaceutical and “on-air” broadcast production facilities.  In addition, Mr. Carter performed numerous value engineering studies for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Centers for Disease Control and Emory University.
  • Mr. Carter also served in a Project Leader capacity and was responsible for negotiating scope of work and contracts directly with Clients for multi-disciplined projects.

  • As an electrical engineer for this nationally recognized electric and gas utility consulting firm, Mr. Carter was responsible for the design and implementation of Design Side Management (DSM) projects.  DSM projects promote a reduction in energy usage and encourage the installation of energy efficient electrical and mechanical products for utility consumers.  In addition, Mr. Carter performed numerous energy audits and validated projected energy and cost savings.
